Previously, Robin was the FT's global finance correspondent, US markets editor, deputy head of fastFT, capital markets correspondent, and Gulf correspondent. He joined the FT from Bloomberg News in 2008, where he covered Nordic economics.

He is also the author of Trillions, a book on the past, present and future of passive investing and how it is reshaping financial markets, published by Penguin Random House in 2021.

Rees, the ruling on whether lethal injection is cruel or unusual. He also won the Neal award for an investigation of bribes and kickbacks on Madison Avenue.

Steve was my tutor at University. He is a Fellow of Hertford College and Associate Professor at the Saïd Business School. Dr New's main areas of expertise are supply chain management and process improvement, where he is a leading authority in the industry.

After spells in management consulting and the automotive industry, Steve pursued his doctorate at Manchester Business School, before taking up an academic position at UMIST, where he taught for five years before joining Oxford — and the newly established business school — in 1996. Since then Steve has served in a number of roles, including Vice-Dean of the Saïd Business School and Investment Bursar of Hertford College.

George Noble

George Noble is an investor and commentator with more than 45 years of experience in the markets. He began his career at Fidelity Investments in 1981, working as an assistant to Peter Lynch before going on to manage the Fidelity Overseas Fund (FOSFX), which ranked as the number-one mutual fund in the US during his tenure. After leaving Fidelity in the early 1990s, he launched his own hedge funds, one of which grew to over $1 billion in assets under management.

Today Noble is Managing Partner of Noble Capital Advisors and author of The Noble Update on Substack. The publication includes twice-monthly subscriber Zoom calls, and regular online stock-idea conferences featuring hedge fund managers, buy-side analysts, and independent researchers.
